Do you pop food into your mouth while reading or at the computer?  Do you still believe it's wrong not to clean every bite off your plate?  These habits make weight loss impossible.  The good news is you can teach an old dog new tricks-and breaking old habits is critical to a successful diet.

Below are 9 mental tricks to re-train your brain to avoid over-indulging and lose weight.
 

1.  Eat Less Often

If you don’t eat as often, you won't be so focused on food.  Contrary to popular belief, "grazing," or eating several small meals isn't a good way for those with self-control issues to lose weight.  So decide on your eating times and stick with it.  Not more than 3 to 4 times a day-- and don't eat in between, no matter the size of the treat."

1.    Make your Environment as Temptation Free as Possible

2.    Make it through the 1st 7 Days (even if you Fail) you take on the Mindset of Successful People

3.    Focus on Positive Replacements – this means creating Positive Feedback Loops in your head....rather than Negative Feedback Loops that focus on expecting Failure

REMEMBER the 1st Day is the Hardest

This video is a chapter from my first video I produced in the Product Factory.  It represents the blood, sweat and tears I put into building a brand and a target market for all to see.  

I had been putting my work out there for all to see on a live television show, with no retakes, for 4 years and wanted a perfect, production quality product to represent my work.  Course this was years before Facebook Live and Ted talks.  

The video was Perfect Fit Pilates, and my new brand was Skinny Jeans Forever.  That name soon became my DBA and Skinny Jeans Forever, LLC was born!

Today I'm still creating and innovating, and am proud to announce my new blog and site BeYOUtiful Inside and Out. I am a Body Wise Life & Fitness Coach whose mission is to help you live the life you were born to live!
